Up early for the plane. Looong day of travelling really leaving Arlanda at 9 ish and landing San Fran at 1500. Got the car, checked into the hotel and decided we were fresh enough to head to California's Great America. Excellent decision, it was very quiet of a Sunday afternoon so very little queing. So little we had to delay between roller coasters from time to time just to not be too pumped from the last one. It kept us busy until 10pm, so a good time to go back to the hotel for sleep. Sneaky In'n'Out burger dinner on the way back then.

Note

Fun week of mainly just gymming, got some nice increases actually. Nice to mix it up a bit. The days I didn't do training were mostly spent packing or organising for leaving Sweden.
Over the next 2 weeks will be travelling so we'll see what we have access to. Should be plenty of longer slower stuff with cycles and walks and some runs too though. Looking forward to it.

Shoulder press 3x10 20kg solid. Can increase to 22 on the last set now probably
1x{ 10x pull up w/green band, 10x TRX core extensions } didn't really succeed on the pull ups so did the second two of
2x{ 10x lat pull down 35, 40kg, 10x TRX core extensions }
back ups 3x10 5, 5, 8kg

Tjäderleksbergen training.
Fun with a little bit of racing against people but my orienteering could have been a lot better when there were people around. Was pushing slightly over the limit and not taking the time I needed to understand the map, even when I wasn't going super quick.

Started well. Took a slightly around route to 1 because it really made the control a lot easier and I could keep high speed. Read excellently to 2 then as well.
3 was the typical long leg here where you have no clue where you are. Aimed off left and picked up the green to lead me in. Still more left than I should have been. Misinterpreted the crags in the circle and stood on top of the wrong hill for a bit. Bad to 4, getting a lot of help from Olle K. Compass direction rightly bad.
Got back in the game for 5 (capercaillie no.1) ,6,7 then lost time with bad direction leaving 7, distracted by Ulrik and another guy, looking for better running. Got a bit tired on the way to 8, knew where I was for a while but lost it later in the leg. Ulrik came back to me and then Nicole came past and she knew what she was doing.
Distracted then at 10 and didn't really know what I was doing. Everyone else found it and I had to run back. Decided that I would work hard to get back to the train. Pushed 11 and got it well, then got really nice running to 12 to pass the other guy and get right beside Ulrik. Got a decent line to 13 but again lost focus 3/4 of the way through the leg and relied on Ulrik finding the control. Nicole missed this so we had a gap.
Tried to press on towards the end and got in front of Ulrik towards 15. Was a bit on the limit though and misinterpreted the marshes and waay to far left while he got it. Saw the open and had to go back to get it behind Nicole and the other guy. Last part was easy but had time to make up. Tried to keep going, passed the guy but couldn't quite make it back to Nicole.
