Longish run for the week. Started at the bottom of the Balledmonduff hill for a change. Huge steep climb up the road where Gina dropped me as she was doing hill intervals. Did a fairly normal loop, over to the orienteering start where it was a lovely calm evening, if a bit chilly, and up the back of Fairy Castle. Did my 10x 10s hill sprints at the bottom of the hill this time. Felt good hitting the summit, where it was gale force winds and 5 metre visibility with fog. Started to hail as I headed towards the Wicklow way and I stopped to buff up. Came back along the Bike path in the forest Gina was raving about since 2 weeks ago and it was very nice running. Still poor visibility and it started snowing here too. Went fairly direct back then. Had to take the headtorch off on the descent and hold it to see anything with the fog. When I did get out of the forest at the car, there was no wind and a fantastically clear night with lots of stars. Changeable much!

A small bit tired at the end. Will have a rest tomorrow.

Easy pre breakfast run. I'm swapping Wed and Thurs in my plan for various reasons. Went south today. Few new random places including a new best graffiti street. Mostly fairly uninteresting compared to Spain though.

Another easy one to keep the body aware that I intend to keep running. Wasn't too into it before I started but decided to wrap up well and had a nice time. Small bit tired but nothing worrying. Felt better as the run went on. Nice coming back in the park with the wind at my back and there being no more floods on the central path any more.

Easy start to March. An easy run with Gina in the park. Went along the hairpins and then back up and around to go down the kyber. Much colder and wetter then Spain but very enjoyable.

Back home to Ireland. Two early days in a row and I'm pretty wrecked. Calf is a little tight today after not running on it! Very successful week of training. Onto the next block, starting with an easy week! I'm not sure how to do the same amount of mileage when also working but we'll see how it goes
