Oing race. Started 2 mins after josh. I was supposed to be showing the juniors that technique is better than speed. I saw josh on my way to 3. The course was easy. I caught up with josh then leaving 3. I tucked in behind him to watch how he did 4 and then we hit the huge road leg. I was dying trying to keep with him and my brain didnt work leaving 7 and i left in the complete wrong direction. lost confidence then and when on the way to the control there was a load of stuff that wasnt on the map it really led me astray and I was very slow. Back on my game on 8 and got it well, heard extra bashing behind me. Apparently it was kyle. Hit 9 ahead of josh after some racing on the road and decided to go straight for 10. dropped kyle who went on the road so apparently it was good. straight to 11 again. Josh passed me once we hit the road to 12 again but my route choice to 13 passed him again. took 13, out to the rough stuff for 14, fastest split... caught leslie here. 3 of us running side by side down the road to 15 i jumped in early but that was a bad idea. still hit the control first. got stuck in crap leaving, then took the lead along the river to 16. Josh passed me on the good running again to 17 but he stopped at the huge gorge thing and i went ahead for 17 again. here kyle appeard. he went straight through the daerk green by accident and got in front. 18 was in a really dodgy place and we searched for a few secs, then it was track again and josh opened the pace, leslie and kyle went with him and i dropped off the back. struggled to the finish. never would have gone as fast by myself but it was good relay training, especially i still dont have a controls descriptions holder
