Stratford sprint. yes I partially mapped and set it, but that doesn't mean I took the best route choices. Felt wrecked.

Katoa Po, leg 7 for Taranaki.

After 6 legs and an epic comeback by our legs 3-6, I headed out in the early hours of Sunday with a decent lead. Had no idea how close behind the speedy boys were though, so gave it a solid effort. Didn't risk dodgy routechoices through the green until #8 where it was unavoidable. I took a chance on the narrowest segment I could find and got through sweet as. Saw a few headlights out there in the dark, but none seemed to be chasing me down, and in the end I extended our lead to 30mins.
Such good fun, but not exactly the smartest race to go and do when I'm already feeling run down from work and life!

Made the smart decision not to do the 90min rogaine on the Sunday morning haha. So reasonable
