Sprint training with Iliana downtown. Oh boy, legs were heavy! Was disappointed when I stopped the watch after the first course and saw only 10mins...it felt like 18mins on my body clock haha.

Followed by birthday coffee and chat, which was by far longer and more relaxing than the training :)

It's heading to 35 degrees today, so I planned to be sorted and get out nice and early...then I slept through to 8am. Ooops.

Got out before 9, and after feeling shitty about pretty much everything yesterday, I decided f*** it, I'm running. Ankle hurt a bit for the first 5mins, then warmed into it. Yet to find the best taping strategy for it. Will do further youtube research today. I hope that my two windows and tiny fan can keep my apartment at an operable temperature.

Small run up to Eklimoen and back to see how the ankle would take it. Sore for the first 5mins and then OK. A bit more impinged on the rocky single track coming back.

Spin around høiåsmarka on the bigger tracks. Highlight was having to slow down for a lady who was out walking her two sheep. Legend.

Took the bike up Høiåsveien and did hill reps from the gate up to høiås. I don't have the consistency on the bike like I do when running, so reps ranged from 4.20-4.30ish (4.14 on the first one, but that was a rolling start). Could get the my heartrate up to 170 on the intervals, so happy enough with that.

At Nordseter. Run-walk with Laure on the trails. Ankle was a bit varied but on the up. Hopefully back into things proper by the end of this week.
Another beaut day, would be happy to stay in the mountains for a few more weeks...but alas, back to sea level and tropical halden tonight.

The classic Bessegen hike. We managed to crawl out of our sleeping bags, brew coffee, eat, and pack up camp in time to beat at the second boat of the day. So only had one boats worth of hikers to overtake on the track. Can't complain really, as the boats also took all our camp gear back for us, so we could hike with just light packs :)

Another stunner of a day, I could show amazing photos of the surroundings...or I could show a photo of us being silly buggers...You know which I pick.
