Left wing? What is this position, and what do I do with it??
Apparently still a lot of running, but more longitudinal than lateral it turns out...

scored the opening goal again - nothing spectacular, just an unmarked tap in from a nice cross. Fear that I may be setting unrealistic expectations...I very rarely score goals really, this won't last.
The score then oscillated to be 4-4 at half time. I had a horrible mix up with our keeper, where I was shielding the ball for her to clear, but she didn't understand. It was blamed on language issues, and I still feel like a complete idiot about it. But really I think it was more an issue of adjusting to new team mates - me and the keepers in my previous teams would have understood exactly what each other was doing and there would have been no issue. Bleh. not a nice way to go into half time.

Felt useless on the left in the 2nd half, and played like it too. Moved to the centre and things improved, but not enough. Lost 5-4 (but apparently we lost to the same team like 10-1 earlier this year, so yeh, improvements). Need to do something with the defence though, we play too high and get caught out with it every match. Every team plays the long ball on us, and even though our defence is good at pulling teams offside, with no lines men in this division, the offsides only get called 50% of the time - the rest land us in shit.

NM next week, but then finally will be at home and able to play more than one match in a row :)

Played one of the junior men's teams for 20min at the end. Usual stuff- they were cocky as hell and thought it would be a walk over. Which of course meant they played terribly as they all wanted to win the game on their own :D Had fun giving them hell.

Far out. Good day for the coach to decide we should do some fitness work! ;)
