WRE middle.

Another steady and ordinary race. Very slow off the mark and some sloppy mistakes in the first 5 or so controls. Then got more stuck into things. But completely rolled my ankle coming diagonally out of #12. Had to sit down, have a swear, and then slowly hobble towards 13/the finish. Eased off a little once I got going, so ended up finishing the course at a jog.

Managed to stay ahead of Laura to keep a clean sheet going for the forest event challenge ;) (I'm not sure we formally agreed to a forest challenge, but it makes me feel better cos she's leading the sprints!)

in edinburgh. Up andd around arthurs seat and cliffs from jo's. Views, but a bit windy to stop and enjoyfor too long

Orienteering 15:59 [5]

WRE Sprint Banockburn

A fun sprint with two areas of housing estate which required reading ahead and route choice, then a long leg to connect the two and some dead running to get to the finish. A steady and unspectacular run, which I was happy enough with. Top end speed can come later.
Got smashed by Laura to go 3-2(?) down in our 2015 Sprint challenge

sorry immy, I was so close to round time and distance! should have looked down 1s earlier and stopped ;)

short run with some hill strides.
Only 10 or so slugs today. But they were BIG. Probably they ate all the other ones.

slugs. more slugs. slugs everywhere. Ew. This place is gross when it rains! Like some kind of agility test to not step on any.

Nice relaxed longish run exploring trails and trying to stay atleast kind of on the route that I memorised from home.
