So i only meant to go out for 30-40 mins, but kinda got carried away. will have to be stricter on myself when it comes to running again.
this time went north. nice to see theyve replanted the felled area on watchtower (so the entire map!), but the trees werent nearly tall enough to prevent the norwester from caning me. made it up to the manawatu river, then along and back down. had to take a detour near the end when i found the next 150m of track submerged in a puddle (or pond).

after 7 days in wellington i got so sick of the fine weather and not being able to run that i bailed out to waitarere, where atleast i can bike in the forests. went for an explore of hydrabad. zig zagged my way right down to the south east corner, then along to the coastal strip and back up. (ofcourse i was spinning the entire way...)
Can't wait for the forest to grow up enough to run in, it has way more contour detail and bigger hills than anything watchtower, osgiliath and wanda have to offer.

went to see the kind people down at wakefield sports clinic today. spent ages talking through my whole sob story. then kevin prodded my ankle for a while, made me do some hopping, looked at my mri's. then said it was weird and i'd have to wait til next monday when he could take my mri's to their weekly meeting where they look and presumable laugh at weird cases.

and he almost let me start running again, almost. (well 5mins running 10mins walking but still better than nothing!)...but then he hesitated and decided it would be best to wait til next week first.

sigh.
