Running 1:25:00 [3]

10mins warm up running through town to mt vic from sarah's.
then run up mt vic with ridge runners. didn't turn out to be a very long run (65mins) but was damned physical, heading vertically up at the start! then did some loops round the top bit, and some epic freestyling off the tracks :D
then jogged back to sarah's after and ate left over icecream from monday!

Football 30:00 [3]

indoor game at 9pm, after run and icecream. Just a grading game for next season, but were playing the same team as last week! man they had some speedy, hard out guys! managed to avoid getting injured by them but a few bruises to show for it. lost 12-6, but then we only had 4 players so had to get some randoms to fill in...and one of them let in half our goals!

Running 45:00 [3]

started off as a run in wilton bush with dad. but as we were setting off this lady and her husband asked if we'd seen their dog. 5 minutes later this little fur ball shoots past us on the track. dad kept going but i decided to try take it back up to the lady.
unfortunately said fur ball had other ideas, so i went and told the lady (who was beside herself with fear that someone had stolen her dog) where it was, and spent the next half hour running round looking for it for her.
Never actually found it, but managed to track it way up the other side of the valley to chartwell, which is where they lived so i assume the dog just went home...like any intellegent creature would.

think ill stick to owning cats for the while...

Running 22:00 [3]

Just a cruise around khandallah after another long day.

had gear return at the soccer clubrooms, so didnt get home til bout 8, and then decided that i felt like running. so despite daylight savings i still ended up running in the dark. was a nice night for it though, even stopped raining just for me :)

Running 52:00 [3]

run from sarahs place with her, magnus, lisa (magisa?), and toddy. went for a bit of an adventure to see how far the new mtn bike track goes...turns out the answer is not far. so we turned around, then found a half track up the pylons. somehow ended up in tanera park where we attempted two 'tracks' from the winter classic. epic fail on that count, having to back track twice. so eventually settled for running up, down and around central park.
Which was soooo worth it, cos we found an awesome playground. it has three flying foxes side by side so you can race. a climbing thing, and a mini running track (or bmx track, but why use a bike when you can run it?). Also a weird spinny thing which todd got stuck on haha

and then we had potluck at sarahs, and penny and jamie did their turn up for desert thing. which is prob just as well cos we ended up with 6L of icecream to eat between 7 of us!

Orienteering (churton park club event) 1:00:00 [3] * 7.0 km (8:34 / km)
16c

well actually 59 something but meh.
street course, pretty much controls in all the little parks with road running between. a little bit of route choice, and a lot of bonus hills! a few of the controls were unnecessarily up hills in long grass stuff, and not sure bout no's 7,8,9. felt like i was running round in circles for them...and i wasnte even lost!

still good to get out with a map in hand again :)

Orienteering (club event churton park) 12:00 [4] * 2.1 km (5:43 / km)
spiked:8/8c

haha, bit of a sprint round the yellow course, well not so much a sprint as it was 5mins after finishing the long course :P

Lisa had all her little school kids there, and apparently the one who won yellow has a way over inflated ego, so i was told to go win the yellow so that she didnt boast so much...not sure how i feel bout beating 12 year olds, but it was decent sprint training, bit of route choice too!
