Note

Flew to Austin to visit my brother and his family, including the part that lives in Denver. First time on a plane in 18 months, ditto for seeing them. Wonderful (well, at least the seeing them part).

Dealt with the flying part pretty well. Lots of thunderstorms in the Atlanta area, enough to make for some rough air, enough to have us heading to Austin by first going south for 100 miles, but fortunately not right over the Atlanta airport. Kept my anxiety pretty much under control. And no real sense of vulnerability in the planes or airports (hopefully justifiably so). Another step in getting back to normal.
