A very fine weekend by WCOC!

trail running 10 [2]

Warm-ups

orienteering 31:22 [5] 3.75 km (8:22 / km) +459ft 7:03 / km
ahr:161 max:175

WCOC A meet, day 1 at Osborndale, short course. Red course. Good run, just one small miss, 15 seconds or so. Had to walk parts of hills up to 1, 7, and 8. Frustrated at the time, but in retrospect I was already at full effort at the base of 7 and 8 and was quickly going under. Overall good hard effort and I was orienteering better than in Missouri.

orienteering 19:00 [5] 2.5 km (7:36 / km) +394ft 6:08 / km
ahr:159 max:175

Relay to raise funds for the team. Ran second leg, Nadim was first, Mihai anchor. Another good hard effort. And a very fun event, both the auction and the relay.

part trail, part woods 1:03:15 [3]

With JJ in Montague. Steady rain, mid-40s, not real pleasant, but after a while everything was soaking wet so it didn't really matter.
I wonder how good JJ could be if he trained....
