treadmill 33:27 [3] 4.0 mi (8:22 / mi)

On my feet a good bit, including walking maybe 10 miles, raining about half the time, when the time came to run as it was getting dark it just wasn't real appealing to head back out in the rain, so the treadmill it was. Nice run, no planned program, just went with the flow, 9:00, 8:30, 8:15, 7:42.

Only problem is that my deteriorating balance and coordination meant that quite a few times I was on the verge of falling off the treadmill. I think I also get distracted by watching TV -- the choice was ESPN's review of NFL games yesterday or Judge Judy. It seemed as though I was a little less likely to fall off watching Judge Judy, but then someone got on a machine in front of me and blocked my view. So back to the NFL, and more close calls.

Legs felt OK. Good training for Fair Hill.

Note

Yesterday's map (Red course). A couple of interesting choices, especially 11-12. I didn't hear of anyone else going as I did, but I think it was a good route.

Also, #2 was my only problem. Took a while, standing on thetop of the correct cliff, to comprehend that the cliff I wanted was facing south, and therefore it was right below me.

And the White course, route is obvious, as it should be:
