Route choice training at Nolde, first time around. Snow was a lot deeper than yesterday, but ran pretty well and kept effort at a moderate level as planned.

Second time around, different routes, Felt ok again, interesting exercise. Routes/comments later Sunday evening.

Time trial up, back down, and then up a little kicker at the end. Snowpacked, a little loose but not bad. Ran a good effort up, but not really killing myself (that's not to say I could have gone much faster, 10 seconds faster would probably have croaked me). Sort of the same back down, holding back just a touch to avoid trashing the hamstrings too much. Hard effort on the last little up, just enough to stay ahead of Hunter.

Overall a really fine weekend. Legs felt pretty good the whole time.
