Beaut day in the Mid-North. Legs weren't realy up for the running challenge, but the brain was there at least. IT was pretty fun to be out on the map and i thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Had a couple of controls that were on non-existent ground features, though they were pretty prominent on paper, they just must have eroded off the landscape. Control 15 was fairly well misplaced, but the controller didn't seem to think so compared to the 4 M21A's that did think so.... That didn't really detract from the fun. I lost control of my direction from 23 to 24, even though i was trying really hard to aim left of the control, i veered about 150m right of the control, picking up on the fact that i was way too close to the yellow near 25.

Ran from Paddy's daycare to work again. Felt ok the whole way, had a bit of walking to do. Never seemed to recovered from the run and kept feeling worse as the day wore on. Turns out the virus hit me. Felt crap by the evening. Caught the bus back to the car and was in bed before Patrick.

A beautiful day to go out orienteering. The course was a litte easy with all the controls pretty obvious and spottable from quite a distance. Had a small issue with #2 as i went to the boulder control first which was only about 30m from my control at the foot of a cliff. It was lucky that i decided to read my control descriptions today! I was pretty slow in my legs, but i managed to beat who i wanted to beat (a 14 year old) but i was beaten by my wife! She did really well. Patrick enjoyed the day with his Gra.
