gym class (Body Pump) 1:00:00 [3]

Due to music stuff up we had freestyle pump today - chest was a killer; biceps was great; triceps beaut; squats - died but made it.

Event (park 2 - Boomerang Park) 47:31 [5] 4.7 km (10:07 / km)
ahr:134 max:154 rhr:76 shoes: adidas

Really enjoyed this run - well I struggled but tried hard. Rephrase - really enjoyed this event. MessEng's first Park event - a real mix of open parkland (at Raymond Terrace) then plonk you're in the middle of some pockets of forest and you have to actually pay attention which caused some people some problems. Very pleased with my map contact and my strategies. Tricky sections were tackled fairly well after #2 which was an early wake up call. Loved how there were so many people in the forest sections ducking and diving. I really struggled on the run in - still a bit weak after the weekend's sleeping sickness bout.
Everything was attended to with such messEng detail - a standard we should all aspire to. Now he can rest easy and look forward to our event and his holiday.
But drat that macey - he ran a wee bit too fast. Much prefer Andrew M who ran at a pace which enabled me to be less than twice his time. Will be interested to check quirkey's time - which was good except I think he had 2 blanks. Bad luck!

Rip van Tinytoes has woken.! And is hungry.

walking 1:10:00 [1]

Walking/field checking Booragul PS for upcoming Park Series Finals event. Some minor changes to school - Dept of Educ or whatever its called this week have taken the 2 demountables they promised to take 6 months ago; a lovely new chook pen are only changes so course setting will be fine for me. rockman has to move 1 or 2 of his controls in that section due to something I'm not allowed to mention - for AP readers may get some hints. Then strolled around adjacent HS.Only saw 1 mossie - amazed. Some time in adjacent parkland then back to offices to sign out before school lockdown practice. Nice area for Park/Sprint - not horribly intricate but just a little tricky if you go to sleep, which was where I was headed - tinytoes still not to full strength and over an hour was enough, even just walking.

gym class (Step Up) 1:00:00 [4]

Was looking forward to this class- feeling a bit stronger after lunch and a little rest after this morning. Mostly the buzz was from the mental side of the class, but it felt good to make it all the way through and still be very much in control.

Note
(sick)

Rarely sick at this time of the year - most displeased. Hopefully only short term - but have felt like this before and it takes ages to be finally rid of it.

gym class (Body Sculpt) 1:00:00 [4]

Testing class - kept us going the whole time. Not spectacular or showy - just solid hard work. Not 1 twinge in glute but I sense it is still there ready to leap out and hurt me.

Glute problem in evidence today after yesterday's Park run. Interestingly it is better in general and a lot worse in particular. Taking its time to improve.
