Weird day. Was supposed to go paddling but it didn't work out and could/should have done some other stuff but also needed to get more work done as I have tons of deadlines coming up and am away for a good chunk next week - so work won out....came home after work around 10:00pm or so, ate, foam rolled, went to bed. zzzzzz

rode to orienteering with Phatty Jr., then to the trail run at Fortune on my own until meeting up with Relentless at the bottom of Fortune..and then home again on my own post trail run... took it easy going home...tired!

signed up for intermediate as I wanted to make it to the trail run - made some rather dumb errors - and I mean D-U-M-B, that I calculated to cost me about 15 minutes...must slow down on trails and take in all relevant details around me! wow, when I mess up, I mess up huge - go big or go home! :-)

yikes hadn't done intervals in forever and boy did it show....need to get my running back on track - 9 weeks till Ultimate XC - GULP!!!
12km total - 8.5km warmup/cool down 3.5km in intervals. Wanted to do more but need to play it S-M-R-T :-)

very fun tonight- a bunch of the map was whited out...so you had to stay within the "corridors" from cp to cp- good bearing practice - was happy with how it went as I was almost always in those corridors and was able to quickly (for me:-)) correct my mistakes.
