Note
(rest day)

Sniffle not any worse than yesterday so will see how I am tomorrow before deciding on whether to exercise.

Still got a negative covid test.

Note
(rest day)

Bit of a sniffle this morning so don't feel like risking it. Weather again not the best today.

Mary also has Covid!

Note
(rest day)

Bad night sleep, Erik fidgeting!

And the weather was damp to say the least so wasn't tempted out.

More trails today and a nice bit of climbing.

PRs on the climbs so that's a good thing, HR was up, but think I could have pushed harder if I was going for it. Technically happy enough with how I was riding. Trails are dry so no mud to contend with.

Arms were fairly sore when I got back to Torc Car park, didn't want any more bumps so stuck to the roads from there home.

Humid again today.

Didn't really have a plan so made it up as I went along.

Left calf felt ok for 30 minutes and then the last 5 it was noticeable but not painful. Could still feel it afterwards being a small bit uncomfortable.

Humid evening.

Met a work colleague out for a walk so stopped for a minute or so to chat to him.

Had a couple of letters to post so did that first which drew me in the direction of town for a spin.

Few jarveys to pass around Ross Castle, not much room so keeping upright while riding on the edge of the tarmac was tricky.

Nice day though.

Some chasing to do after lunch, took the lads down to the National Park with their bikes, and I needed one, should have worn running shoes to keep up with Erik. Tried to keep him in sight but not always possible!

Nice evening, sun shining, but no way as warm as England last week. Legs feeling well rested but maybe not too motivated at times, out of the training habit maybe.

As the sun was out it did make for a pleasant spin though.

Mostly quiet around Dinis but busy in a few places.

Last week's "rest" week went as plan, no surprise there, was tired after travelling yesterday so did have an early night last night. Back into a more normal routine this week with the exception of no day off tomorrow as could happen later in the week if needed. Will try and do 3 runs if I can this week but going out after work in Tralee in Friday so will have to work from home if I want to run.

Monday - Bike
Tuesday - Bike
Wednesday - Run
Thursday - Bike
Friday - Run
Saturday - Bike
Sunday - Run
