Bluepool orange course with Erik & Oscar

Erik walked it all but Oscar had to be carried for the last few controls, that was tough going. Some bribery required at times.

Nice day for it.

Went straight from 9 to 10 as wanted shorted distance due to carrying Oscar.

Chest has probably improved. Wondered about orienteering tomorrow but not worth it, it's only Bluepool, therefore nothing to be gained. Will take the lads around the orange.

Not quite the usual loop as road being resurfaced between the start of the Dinis Loop in the direction of the farm. So had to swing back around towards the end and go back along the lake which probably slowed things.

Legs not feeling desperate but definitely some tiredness in them.

Not the nicest of days to be running, wet, sometimes heavy, sometimes dry. Quiet as a result of the weather.

Chilly. Glad of the layers (6 in total), usual gear drying so went for extras just in case. Was comfortable.

Road closed in the national park so headed towards town instead. Had thought of going this direction today, decided against it, but fate intervened.

Legs feeling fine on the bike, no issues after yesterday's 'mountain' so happy.

Last week wasn't too bad in the end, could have gone worse, but also could have gone better. Plan on trying parkrun on Saturday week.
