Felt a bit sniffly again today and the weather was crap. Felt tired too so took it easy today.

Felt better so went for a spin in the cold! Wind was strong but got a good gap between the showers of rain. Some very heavy rain at lunch time.

Wasn’t feeling too strong but got around. Lots of water about but lake below the road still. A bit more rain and it mightn’t be.

Good to get out anyways. Will see how I feel later before deciding on where to run tomorrow.

Felt like i'd a slight cold yesterday when I woke up but still went cycling, bit worse later. It's not really got worse today but will take it easy. Hopefully it's nothing.

Time for a new pair of runners, asked New Balance if there was a new version of the ones I had coming, there isn't so asked if they could suggest an alternative. No idea why they recommended a trail shoe when I specifically mentioned road???

And since I was shopping, 12 rolls of ankle tape ordered.

Cold!
Lovely morning with the blue skies and frost on the ground.
I wasn't the only person out exercising, they were rowing on the lake, had to be more cold than being on a bike.

Beat my PR on the Doo Lough link. Didn't feel too good on the hills though.

No ice on the ground, apart from some of the bigger puddles being frozen.

Quieter too in terms of people.

Usual Tuesday apart from not working.
Spent a bit of time on the bike out the back with the lads. Risky with Erik on his and Oscar on the scooter, no idea what direction they might come at you from!

Trails were mucky.

Did meet a few people.

Feeling ok and felt like I was moving ok but time poor relative to history on the route. I think I’ll see if there are any HR straps on offer as no way the average today or the max are correct.

Didn’t push the track back towards Mangerton Road, wanted to save myself for the hill back to the car. Worked as hill wasn’t that bad until the last bit before the car. Did run beyond the car to get over 10k.

Last week nearly went to plan so will try to get 6 days if I can. Lads aren’t in creche on Friday as they are short staffed but their grandparents might be minding them instead. Back to work on Wednesday too, that was a nice break, needed it too.
