Ran in to town from home. Would have preferred trails as it’s been road all week but match in town so Mary went in early to get parked.

Legs felt fine though but didn’t push it. Did wonder about a parkrun next Saturday.

Did think I’d possibly overdressed when I started, warm. But it started to rain about half way through the run which was cold so what I’d on was needed at that stage.

Cold morning but avoided the worst of the showers. Did get some rain though towards home which discouraged me from doing a few more minutes.
Happy with the layering I chose though.

Hand is not ideal at times on the bike, not as comfortable holding when out of the saddle. Still keeping to tarmac but did put a small trail in for a change or scene which was mostly ok hand wise but some fallen branches made it harder to ride.

Huge group of people walking against me as I entered the park so had to ride on the grass to get past.

Did check if my overshoes would work on the MTB shoes but no, designed for road shoes, so must invest in a suitable pair. Feet didn’t get cold though.

Around town.

Head actually sore when I stared running due to work. I chose running over pints with the boss! Draft plan is out on Monday, the extra time due to covid helped! Public meetings in anger are being organised and it’s not even published.

Didn’t run too fast. Legs ok with the hard surface. Nice evening for a run.

At home today so got out on the bike, nice morning.

Feeling fine cycling.

Did put a new battery in the HR strap but don't know if the watch was picking up that or the wrist monitor, didn't switch off the wrist monitor. Avg seems like it would be the strap though. Batteries seem to use up very fast.

Nice cycling around. Based on a few overshoots today i'm glad I don't have any orienteering to do. Not focused, or too focused on thinking ahead.

In the office but brought gear with me. No torch charged so had to do an out and back. Didn't want to run for long anyways the way things have been the last week.

So ran back into town, a loop around Ross Road and back.

Had to detour across the road by the INEC as a car had crashed into a tree on the jarvey road. I'm not sure how that is possible.

Legs feeling alright, but what I ran was enough for the calves. It was all tarmac.

HR is from the watch, strap not working.

I really have been poor on Attackpoint in recent weeks, not helped by the lack of training, one thing after another. Also work has been very hectic and have needed to be in the office for most of it!
