Into town

Windy but mostly dry. Some trampoline issues earlier!

This run hurt a lot, quads wrecked after Friday, so some uncomfortable moments. Jut bad DOMS.

Not that many people out due to the weather.

(rest day)

Legs sore after running yesterday, not a surprise.
Hand fine though.

From the house since I'm not insured to drive wearing a splint.
Got lucky weatherwise, got home just ahead of very nasty rain.

Lungs felt a bit under pressure and calves not too happy after a while, ok though.

Had some car trouble in the national park, wedding cars trying to get to the Abbey behind me but I didn't fancy giving them much room as leaves on the side of the road. I think some of them got lost too as more behind me as I exited by the Abbey car park.

I wonder if I wore a boxing glove would that protect my hand for the Munster Champs?
It would certainly give meaning to the term to "punch the control".

Preacher S02 E12

After a 'break' from training it's now time to get back into it. Got a call from the hospital today so know what the plan is in terms of the hand. Splint can come off on the 6th, day before Munster Champs.

Will stick to the turbo in terms of biking until after the 6th, but I can run, so will try that tomorrow.

Last 10 minutes of this were a struggle. Lack of training probably a factor plus my riding position wasn't great. Rather than put hand on the handlebar I used the sling to keep weight off it. Took off the splint as turbo would be too sweaty for it. So was being cautious.

(sick)

Still not heard from the hospital but I reckon turbo trainer is doable if I manage to set it up.
