(injured)

No point in a write up for earlier.
Fell off my bike. Stupid.
Apart from the loss of plenty skin, broke a bone in my hand.
So that’ll be a quiet log for a few weeks.

Damp day again today but not like yesterday afternoon which was very glad, happy to have got out when I did yesterday. Wore a jacket and buff on my head for the rain but took that off coming back from Torc, head had got too warm. Was warm despite the rain.

Legs feeling ok, but need to do some work on them, feeling a bit niggly.

Had a short break between the abbey and the main road, a couple of NPWS lads were using chainsaws to clear the fallen tree from the path.

Wet day but wasn't that wet cycling, more a drizzle, warm too, so better conditions than I expected.
I was contemplating the turbo trainer too.

Quiet enough given the weather.

Leaves starting to be denser on the ground.

Body feeling better than yesterday. Put it under pressure with the Torc car park climb too. Descent from there was hard with the speed and rain into the eyes.

Hosed myself down before going in to have a shower!

With Killian who wanted an easy run. I don't think my body minded the easier run either, was still feeling pretty tired this morning but felt better as the day went on.

Stuck to a lot of smaller MTB trails, up Queens Drive, and then down the hill again.

Nice to have company for a change.

Temperatures warmer than recently and the rain held off.

Note
(rest day)

I am tired, more in general though than leg specific. Lots of sleep needed but not sure where it'll come from.

In the office today too to get some update on the laptop.

Very slow loop around Dinis
Focusing on recovery after yesterday.

Legs/body tired this morning but have felt worse. Hopefully this spin helps, HR lower than last Monday's effort where I did move faster, none of that today. Plenty of looking around at the scenery.

Managed to get out between showers so that was good. Layered up better than last Monday too, still wore shorts, but 3 layers under the jacket.
