Upper Torc

Nice morning for a run.

Can't say calf is better yet, it managed this run, but not sure how it will like more. I think I can expect a DNF at the weekend.

(rest day)

Starting to recover.

Did some gardening after lunch.

Friday May 21, 2021 #

Note
(rest day)

Feeling a small bit better so that's something.

Thursday May 20, 2021 #

Note
(rest day)

Not feeling great. I think the stress of last week has caught up with me. Nothing major wrong apart from a sore throat and feeling tired.

Note
(rest day)

Not right today, throat a bit sore, and generally a small bit off. Don't know what the source of infection is.
Hopefully it's only a short thing.

Note
(rest day)

Went to Cork for the day with the lads.

Our (failed) Eurovision song this year is called Maps. Looks like the video was shot in the Wicklow Mountains somewhere, maybe around the Wicklow Gap? Not sure she was suitably attired for the running.

This looks like my limit for the moment until the calf improves. Nice evening for a run.
Calf didn’t feel desperate but felt it around Muckross house. Pace easy.
