Moving fast enough but feeling ok. Not sure if HR is right, has issues with the strap for a while so took it off as it wasn’t sitting comfortable.

Did up the pace before the road into Muckross House to catch a a couple of lads running.

Lake high. Had to take a detour early on and then the path back from the abbey was under water in a few places. So wet feet to start and to finish with.

Also rained too for the first bit and then when I got back to the car. Nice in between.

Park was busy today.

El Cid S1 E3

This felt hard. Not sure if the resistance was more or legs tired, maybe a combination. HR up so reflects the effort.

Porridge for breakfast with the lemon curd I made earlier in the week was tasty. I’m happy with how the curd turned out.

TV again as chromecast still not cooperating. Wasn't too bad though.

Very wet outside, a lot of water about. It was wet in the woods yesterday, going to be a lot worse today. A lot of rain fell last night. Didn't sleep great. Could hear the wind!

Had the first 2 thirds in my head but wasn't sure how to finish the run, made that up when i'd finished the part i'd planned. Put some effort into the segment in after Mangerton Road. Need to find a minute probably but given the underfoot conditions it was hard to run fast. Still got the HR up for this part anyways.

Some sunshine and a shower of rain for a short time. Nice day for a run.

Only met a few deer in the woods today.

Legs alright.

Bit of a disaster tv wise. Internet sketchy the last couple of days which I think was affecting the Chromecast. So put something on the telly but it froze after half an hour then!

Avg Cadence = 100rpm

Right foot not as issue, but was sore of sore the last couple of days. Someone dropped a bottle of milk on it. Bit of a bruise, on the top of the foot so not in an awkward place.

Note
(rest day)

Usual Tuesday rest.

No dramas shopping :-)

Made lemon curd at lunch time for my pancakes later. Just have to put the curd on the pancake rather than sugar/lemon juice combo. Will have to consider a Nutella pancake too. Should be having 4.

Finished with v2 of Tralee for MapRun, my guinea pig hasn't come back with any feedback on v1, so assuming they didn't try it out, probably a good thing as it wasn't right. v2 is definitely a lot better, paths are correct, but some of the 'odd' trees are probably odd.
