Preacher S02 E03

Wasn’t really feeling too energetic today so this wasn’t the easiest. Have felt better.

Maybe if I wasn’t playing trains beforehand with Erik I might have got started sooner and would have had less time to mull over not training!

Felt like a run rather than the bike. Went ok. Legs not great so we’ll see how the Achilles is tomorrow.

A fallen tree has been cut so made the loop i did a couple of times a few seconds faster and less rough.

Self-isolation finished and all ok at the end of it.

Preacher S02 E02
Watched Preacher during Lockdown 1.0 so decided it was about time I got back to it. Needed a change from Breaking Bad too.

Ok today on the bike. New runners arrived in the post this afternoon so will be tempted to take them for a run over the weekend, but might wait until next week with trails instead over the weekend.

Note
(rest day)

Bonus rest day.

Both boys didn't have a good night so both parents didn't get much sleep. Was tired as a result so decided taking a break would be sensible.

Family Self-Isolation - Day 17 of 17

Turbo Trainer 46:10 [3]
ahr:121 max:135

Avg Cadence = 102rpm

Breaking Bad S04 E11

Decided to swap training around, achilles ok walking but not sure it's ready to go running. Will take it day by day and keep to the bike in the mean time.

This was ok today. Think I might need to look at the resistance, make life a bit harder.

Turbo Trainer 46:18 [3]

Breaking Bad S04 E10

Avg Cadence = 103rpm

Didn’t feel too energetic this morning, must be what turning a decade does to you! But felt fine once pedalling.

Family Self-Isolation - Day 15 of 17

Did take the day off work, avoid the stress of working from home with everyone here!

Note
(rest day)

Left achilles sore to touch after yesterday's run so that's not a good start to the week. Last week was first time training a 6 day week since September. Just shows how good a winter i'm having!

Bit more rest between runs this week, and limiting it to 2 runs.

Monday - Rest
Tuesday - Turbo
Wednesday - Run
Thursday - Turbo
Friday - Turbo
Saturday - Run
Sunday - Turbo

Family Self-Isolation - Day 14 of 17

-----------------------------------

Didn't look at numbers for 2020 but will do for my 30s instead, last day of being in them today!

495 hours of orienteering (3,639km, 93,248m climb & 9,181 controls)
And then in terms of adding my various running categories together, 8,374km and 130,094m climb
Cycling -was a total of 26,898km (213,457m climb) on a road bike, another 650km on MTB
360 hours on the turbo trainer

Now to improve on that in my 40s...
