Event: [TBC]

Note
(rest day)

Woke at around 5 with a slight sniffle and slight sore throat. Didn’t manage to get back to sleep as I wasn’t happy. Didn’t get worse during the day so maybe not all that bad. Didn’t risk running.

Note
(rest day)

Busy day in town getting peoples hair cut but they don’t like getting their hair cut.

Double buggy pushing about all I did today.

Note
(rest day)

Would have liked to have done something today with probably a busy weekend but slept very badly last night. I'd like to blame Oscar but he's actually been sleeping a whole lot better in the 'training room'. Just me. Will therefore take break today.

Tomies Wood

With the rain, heavy drizzle for the run, O'Sullivans Cascade had a good flow of water over it. Not the worst weather though.

It's been a 'few' years since I last ran in here. It is a nice run. And with the new car park i'm wondering would it open Tomies up to orienteering...just needs a map. Some nice bits of forest. Could be a better option for IOC 2021 relays?

The hill was a slog.

After that I tried to find the start of the path to Dinis, bit non existent leaving the road but the path picks up on the far side of a marsh, and it does continue into the Rhododendron jungle. So definitely still an option despite the 'Path Closed' sign that had fallen over.

Could feel the left achilles but it wasn't desperate. Wondering how the quads will be after the long downhill, didn't push it though.

Breaking Bad S04 E06 (on laptop)

Bit of messing with the sound since it was on the laptop and the longer headphones I was using for the laptop/turbo are also in the attic, I knew they went up. Issues going for a drink when I kept on leaning back and pulling the headphones out of my ears! Did try the tv soundbar but not loud enough!

Didn't feel too bad mentally considering it was 2nd day in a row on the turbo.

Will run early tomorrow, head to Tomies after dropping the lads off in town. Saves me 20 minutes in the car doing that. Just start work a bit later.

Won't bother with cadence as sensor still playing up. Tried to see if I could export the data but didn't spend too much time thinking about it.

Just watched tv as the Breaking Bad boxset was 'moved' to make way for some Christmas decorations. Unbeknownst to me it's now in the attic even though I would have carried it up there (in a box).

Note
(rest day)

Will have some sort of training plan this week.

Monday - Rest
Tuesday - Turbo
Wednesday - Turbo/Rest
Thursday - Run
Friday - Rest
Saturday - Turbo
Sunday - Run

Think that might work. I might be in the office for a day this week so that could change plans. I do want to get to Tomies for run on Thursday but might push that to Friday depending on a few things.
