Note
(rest day)

Didn't feel great today, even had a nap during the day! So some exhaustion has snuck up on me. I was lying in bed overnight thinking it could be something more serious, but it's not.

Trails 48:46 [3] 7.82 km (6:14 / km) +315m 5:12 / km
ahr:155 max:176 shoes: Salomon Speedcross 4

Upper Torc

Some climbing to start off with followed by some single track MTB downhills before more tracks. Only place I’d in mind to go was the viewing point to start off. Then winged it from there. Taking opportunities as I saw them.

Wanted to descend to the side of Torc, found a MTB trail but not sure if its the one I was looking for. Ended up at the bottom of the hill, at the town sodenor the Torc car park. Wanted to hit the track in the woods between the roads. Ran on the main road for a tiny bit and then back into the woods.

Run back up the road to the car I felt slow.

Wet morning, had expected it to be dry, but dried up for my run.

Note
(rest day)

After being off form this time last week I decided a day off before the weekend would be sensible. Feeling a bit tired due to an early start too. Weather alright for the weekend so must come up with a plan.

Trails/Road 42:46 [3] 8.97 km (4:46 / km) +40m 4:40 / km
ahr:152 max:175 shoes: New Balance 890 v6

Very busy in the car park, my usual spot was gone. Lots of people out and about but most of them on the road so I avoided them on the path, still busier than usual. It was a nice evening too.

Feeling fine this evening so that was positive. It's about time for a new pair of runners, know the pair I want and more importantly the colour but hard to find in that colour and my size.

Consistant pace after the first couple of km, 2nd km is a slow one.

Next time I bring Erik out in the running buggy that's not for a nap i'm going to bring his bell, see if he'll ring it to clear people from in front of us.

Turbo Trainer 45:52 [3]
ahr:154 max:169

Avg Cadence = 98rpm

Vikings S06 E10

Had the bike off the turbo for a couple of days as needed the space. Not sure what was up this evening but this felt hard. Didn't make any chances to the set-up but will check the resistance before next spin. Maybe I was just tired. But I would be suspicious of the resistance notwithstanding that.

Wondering when i'll be told to "cocoon" after Leo's address to the nation last night. Not sure i'm ready for that yet.

Trails 38:09 [3] 6.31 km (6:03 / km) +219m 5:09 / km
ahr:155 max:176 shoes: Salomon Speedcross 4

Upper Torc

Out for a run after breakfast. Definitely not going to meet too many people where I ran today. A mixture of big trails and small trails.

Legs feeling fine after their break. But lungs didn't like the hills.

Very surreal St. Patricks Day.
4 PM

Walking 1:00:21 [3] 5.61 km (10:45 / km) +17m 10:35 / km
ahr:96 max:107

Double training!

Oscar needed to be walked for his afternoon nap so went out for an hour. Forgot that I was doing this before I left home so had no orthotics in my shoes for this. Played on my mind a bit but think the legs survived.

Damp.

Note
(rest day)

Plan for the week:

Monday - Rest
Tuesday - Run
Wednesday - Bike
Thursday - Run
Friday - Bike
Saturday - Run
Sunday - Run

That's the idea but we'll see how that goes. Definitely improved again today so heading in the right direction. Definitely got away with this one I think.
