Upper Torc

Run on some of the tracks and trails on the Torc side of the road. Decided to check out where that path went where number 26 was at MOC a couple of weeks ago, goes all the way up to the road above it, coming out near the junction by the gate to Killegy house, bit steep at the end, but handy path. Got me thinking about other paths in the area, definitely a few extra ones these days created by MTB. Think if I check strava for segments that might be one way of saving time exploring.

Nearly didn't run, slight cold, but sure what the hell, no point in being lazy. Not feeling too bad considering that sleep was interrupted, and probably will be for a few nights, Erik needs to get out of a habit.

Left calf felt a small bit tight near Upper Torc, slowed down, and then improved on the smaller path after it, and was fine on the road back to the car too. Could feel achilles in the background, more so before it was wamed up.

Wanted to watch Ozark for something different and for a longer episode but issue with the laptop. So took a few minutes pedalling to realise that so extra to go with what I did watch.

Felt like I was able to put more effort in today but did feel tired nearing the end.

Will see what the weather is like tomorrow, might try a short run but don’t want to over stretch myself after being sick, so we’ll see how energetic I feel.

I suppose yesterday was a bank holiday so day off from making a plan for the week?

Not got much of a plan this week, get better, and get physio on Thursday. Should be out and about by the end of the week though.
