Probably warmer today than yesterday but it was cloudier, some drizzle on the 2nd lap, but wasn't a bad morning to be out.

Definitely enjoyed this a lot more than yesterday. Took my brothers bike out for a spin, haven't returned it to him since he's away in Spain until next year, not that he uses it anyways.

Had watch on the HR screen which said I was in threshold zone. So went by that.

Might try and use this donkey of a bike at times over the winter, if I can move this bike I can move anything. I must weigh it, probably double if not more the weight of my road bike.

Cold on the bike, thought i'd enough layers but if i'd one more I would have been more comfortable. Was ok once warmed up.

Lots of bikes coming against me but none going my direction, up.

Can't say I was too happy with how I was moving today, maybe feeling better on the way home, but definitely not too good going up and that's reflected in the time.

Interesting day at the Architecture Kerry symposium, was on in the chapel of Balloonagh convent, used to go past it every day living in Tralee but was never in it, nice building.

Dinner then after work with Mary to celebrate her/our birthday/wedding anniversary. So no training this evening. Nice evening so missed out.

Glenflesk-Barraduff

Again another evening where I didn't push too much, although didn't really feel like it early. Mood improved after Barraduff so was moving better on the way home despite the wind. Too much thinking about biscuits!

Feeling ok today. Weather was unreal this morning, clear blue skies, but a different story of sorts this afternoon, slightly damp on the way home from work, but didn't rain so will take that as a bonus. Thought I might have had to dust off the turbo trainer, but not today, soon.

Average Temperature according to the Garmin = 19.8 degrees
So definitely worth getting out for a spin this evening.

Slow spin I suppose, decided that any sort of effort i'd more or less try and avoid. Let the body dictate whether it's able for increased effort or not. Feeling ok today and nose wasn't runny at all during the cycle, a positive thing I feel.

Got a text too about cross country season. I'm very non-committal I feel on that issue, well the local races anyway as there'll all in the next couple of weeks. Orienteering will probably do less damage to me.

Maybe I might get some training done this week but not today! Still feeling rough, sleep a problem as well as having a cold. This one hasn't gone to my chest though since it's been lingering there since Saturday. I suppose that's a positive. Left achilles also not too happy walking today. Not going to decide that to do this week, will base it off how i'm feeling. More than likely mainly bike I suspect.
