Munster League

Did what I could. A few wobbles out there, biggest were leaving 1, just trying to get away from the control, and then went a good bit off line to 6, so time lost there. Rest of it wasn't too bad. Bit of extra distance going to 5 too.

Graph of my pace today shows that I had a speed, and I stuck to it! Left quad and left calf felt a bit tight later in the race but not a hindrance. But can deal with them. Toe was ok I think, good choice of venue at this stage, not too many rocks around. Even the boulders were small.

Feeling better today but resting up. Can't expect to do numerous days in a row after being out of the loop for a few months.

Nice day though!

Must go find some orienteering gear for tomorrow.

Probably going to rest tomorrow too. But based on how tired i'm feeling this morning taking today off is probably a sensible idea. Long day yesterday. Ankle was very sore going to bed but feeling better this morning.

Will do some more painting this evening.

Muckross

Went for a different route this evening. Some trails and also a good bit of road. The fun part was when I went over on my right ankle, stopped to see what I stepped on to cause the damage but didn't see anything. Ran on anyways. Sore afterwards, but nothing to stop me training.

Just under the 30 this evening but that was enough, quads tired, and was a tiring day of work too. Was down to Bray Head again, and did some other bits on pieces on the way back from Valentia.

Tired when I got home, long day. So wasn't feeling too perky when I got on the bike, 40 minutes went quickly but the last 10-15 minutes was a struggle. Considered stopping early but kept going.

Way things are looking I might run tomorrow and take Saturday off. Will see.

St Brendans to Knockreer and back

Copped myself on and ran a lot slower this evening. Was not sensible to run like I did on Sunday, and have been feeling the affects since. Sore muscles. Legs also didn't feel fantastic this evening as a result. But at least toe was alright.

Warm out but a tiny bit damp at times. Remembered to charge my head torch so that was handy.

Time to go about planning the week again.

Didn't think i'd be hurting as much today as I am. Not proper hurt, just a few sore muscles, and I only ran for half an hour!

Monday - turbo trainer
Tuesday - running
Wednesday - turbo trainer
Thursday - rest
Friday - running
Saturday - cycling
Sunday - orienteering

Running the parkrun this Saturday is something i'm considering but might planning on a cycle for the moment. Might adjust this plan later in the week depending on how i'm feeling.

Also looking like Easter might have come early, Forerunner may have risen from the dead. Need to test it a bit further but positive signs.

Got a battery for the Cadence sensor on my way home. Took a bit of messing around to get it working. But at least have bike data back.

Legs grand on the bike. Cadence better this evening for some reason.

Just watched the end of a film I didn't finish last night.
