Note
slept:6.0 (rest day)

Really should have been more sensible with regards to sleep last night. But resting today so at least won't have to contend with tiredness from training.

Happy enough with how body is feeling pre the weekend.

Suspect i'll have to face the realities of moving house at some point in the coming months, can't not live in a house you buy!

ahr:154 max:172 slept:6.0 shoes: Spiuk ZS11

Back a small bit sore this evening. Reckon it's down to new work computer which finally arrived yesterday. Monitor is new too and in a slightly different position so that might be affecting my posture. Wasn't really an issue on the bike though.

Definitely feeling better on the bike this evening than last effort last week, and last effort on this route. So that was a positive. Evenings are getting cooler too so that doesn't help faster times.

Overall time is in the right area. And time for the climb is average enough, not as bad as the last time and behind where I was in July. Anyways cycling season is coming to a conclusion.

Picked up my new orthotics this morning. They are basically a new version of the ones I have already, they were getting tatty so got a new pair. They are slightly thicker though to give some more support to the achilles. Won't need to break them in.

Training done now so rest until Saturday to look forward to.

ahr:153 max:169 slept:6.0 shoes: Adidas Supernova (2015)

National Park

Did the run I bailed on last week due to pain. Legs felt ok, achilles were alright once warmed up, and calf behaved. So pleased with that since I don't intend to run again until Saturday.

Wore a jacket as there was a very heavy shower on the spin over. Some drops during the run but mostly alright.

Felt dark in some places.

They read out a text on 2fm (not long after 2.54.30) that I sent in this evening!

Turbo Trainer 58:32 [2]

Avg Cadence = 94rpm

Ripper Street S02E08, and that's the end of my Ripper Street box set.

Messy evening, had to view something after work, then cook some dinner, my car was being serviced in Cork this morning so had to go swap back cars with my dad in Cullen, and have all that done for an IOA meeting at 8.30, which I managed with time to spare. So that left after the meeting being the only time to train. And no real excuse not to train.

Session felt easy enough actually and cadence was the same as Friday so that's good.

Bit odd to be going straight to bed after training.
