There might be some improvement but nothing significant today. Definitely no running anytime soon:-(

Going to head home for a bit today, Giro TTT for the afternoon I reckon, mixed with some hurling if it's on TG4.

Stayed to watch the changeover from 2-3 in Tiomila. Looks like some effort by Thierry on the last leg, catching Olav for 3 and then putting 3 into him, will he run long I wonder in Finland?

Probably some improvement today but not a massive amount. Still got a cold so sniffling a bit. Will do a bit of Tiomila watching today. WebTv not too good on my computer, need to find better broadband.

Seem to be losing weight while not training, can't be good!

Chest still in trouble. Maybe some minor improvement today. Still got a slight cold too. All related to this chest infection, which is a viral one.

Got 2 more sleeps before Sunday, and if I feel better then, I might make the trip to Galway for the AGM and to take part in the relays. Would like to be optimistic and think that this will happen, looking after myself, taking my drugs and going to bed early (might be hard on Saturday night with Tiomila on), but will need serious improvement for it to become reality.

Despite having a good nights sleep i'm tired this morning, lacking energy. At least the sore throat has cleared up. Chest may have improved but i've made another appointment with the doctor for tomorrow morning, check on if i've recovered. Really disappointed that there has been limited improval since Friday.

I must admit that Magic's log brought a smile to my face this morning. I do need something to cheer me up, throat is still sore and hard to tell what way the chest is, probably some improvement, but would prefer more dramatic improvements, like say going to being 100% fit overnight.

Had to take remedial action for a sore throat overnight, which is still there today. Can't say that i'm impressed with something else going wrong, hoping it just improves and something else doesn't go wrong. Do intend to try and get moving again on Wednesday. I definitely need to exercise before the weekend.

Monday - ill
Tuesday - ill
Wednesday - Turbo Trainer, 30 mins easy, get the HR up a small bit
Thursday - Running, 5-6k, easy
Friday - Rest day, travelling
Saturday - IOC Middle
Sunday - IOC Classic
