Turbo Trainer 45:01 [2]
ahr:115 max:135 slept:8.5 (sick)

Avg Cadence = 73rpm

Felt better than Thursday this morning. HR graph shoes an increase over the length of the session, lowest at the start, rising to a high point at the end.

Read a book. Will concentrate on turbo this week, lungs improving slowly. Did finish anti-biotics this morning so what's going to fix me now?

Good night last night. I was informed that my time on the rodeo bull was 13 seconds but it felt longer!

Came back to Kerry as decided that racing tomorrow wasn't going to happen, so focusing on moving. Another load today brought over, not a very big one, and will bring more stuff tomorrow. Nearly there, not sure of when my 1st sleep in Muckross will be, maybe next Friday.

Think I might do some easy pedalling on the turbo trainer in the morning, if i've time.

No report at the doctors yet, will ring again this afternoon to check. Doubt i'll be training/orienteering over the weekend at this stage. Maybe the Cork air which i'll get this evening will improve things. Barman at my sisters 21st party tonight!

Another load of stuff in the car to bring over to Killarney after work. Map collection in the car today, so need to be careful driving over, wouldn't want to damage them. They are joined in the car by a pair of crutches and some other bits and pieces.

Might try 20mins on the turbo trainer when I get back to Tralee, see how things go.

Turbo Trainer 20:02 [1]
ahr:102 max:142 (sick)

Avg Cadence = 70rpm

Tried out exercising. Kept an eye on HR, no shocks, did increase at the end but I did put myself under pressure for the last couple of minutes to see what'd happen my lungs. They felt ok but reckon running would be a whole different ball game. They didn't feel great afterwards. Bringing gear back with me for Sunday, just in case, but at this stage i'm not too optimistic about using it. If I talk to the doctor tomorrow then that might affect things.

Minimal improvement in my lungs, this thing is taking it's time to get better, but as usual I want it fixed straight away, don't like waiting.

At least moving house is keeping me distracted. Going through stuff and throwing things out that I really don't need.

Getting the keys this evening, so have 1st load of stuff in the car. Shouldn't need my tent or 4 sleeping bags in Tralee in the next week or so. Also moving o-gear I don't wear regularly. Wonder will I ever wear my JWOC 2000 trousers again? Or the red o-suit with 2 green stripes. It'd be worth something to a Mayo Orienteering Club.

Still not better! But probably improving. Will do some packing tonight, get the keys tomorrow.

Will decide this afternoon whether turbo trainer is a good idea or not.

Will try the turbo trainer for maybe half an hour this evening to see how that goes, and if it's successful i'll go for longer tomorrow.

Note

Went and got my chest x-rayed. They said 10 days for report to go back to doctor but will ring them Friday to see if they've anything. Having second thoughts about turbo trainer this evening, chest not feeling right.
