slept:11.0 (sick) (rest day)

Feeling a small bit better this morning, so don't think i'll be getting those anti-biotics. So maybe I can be back doing something on Monday at this stage, that's the plan.

Still not right. Being an man about things and going to the doctor this morning. Hopefully he prescribes some nice anti-biotics to fix me fast. Want to train tomorrow and there's orienteering in Killarney on Sunday!

Note

Back from doctor now. Got a prescription for anti-biotics but advised to only get them tomorrow if i'm not feeling any better. Training and orienteering this weekend will not be happening now. Could be worse, could've been next weekend.

Not feeling good so ticking the sick box. Not sure what exactly is wrong but I don't feel up to training this morning. Will see how I am this evening. I did get the planned sleep too.

Stomach is sore today too after circuits.

Circuits 33:00 [4]
ahr:131 max:171 slept:8.0 shoes: Mizuno Waverider 13

2 sets, with longer reps of about 45 seconds at each station. Biggest trouble was the burpees, had no strength in my arms, it was after push-ups so think that drained me, and not feeling 100% is not helping.

Body is suffering, trying to figure out if i've a sore throat, cold, or just exhausted. Thing a combination of all 3! Good night's sleep planned for tonight, 10 hours plus, then training tomorrow morning.

Did some other exercises after the circuits which involved squats, push-ups, sit-ups, knee lifts and heel kicks, tough way to finish.

Circuits warm up/down 11:00 [2]
ahr:82 max:121 shoes: Mizuno Waverider 13

Avg was higher for the warm down section, but that was just some stretching. Another GAY warm-up with aerobics type stuff. My brain has trouble co-ordinating my arms and legs doing this. It can manage rough terrain and map alright, but aerobics is a whole different ball game.

Enya was playing again for the stretching at the end, SHITE.

slept:7.5 (rest day)

Not feeling 100% I think this morning, just before going to bed I felt a bit off, probably lack of sleep after Sunday. Hopefully things pick up during the day, but I might just rest today.

Having a rest day. Definitely too tired, exhausted might be the word for it, got circuits to look forward to tomorrow.

Very tired this morning after the late return back to Tralee. 3hrs6mins from Dublin Airport to Tralee isn't bad going though.

Got 884 points yesterday in the long WRE. Pleased to get that amount of points. Still 10 minutes off 1000 though, maybe JK for that, i'll try anyway.

Plan for this week is to bike this evening to aid recovery, not sure how long i'll last, may fall asleep cycling. Might rest tomorrow or else I might go for a run, should be enough light for Glanageenty (2 laps). Circuits on wednesday so will probably do some extra biking when I get home. Havn't thought much beyond Wednesday. Thursday I can train in the morning since no work:-)

Need a few ideas for the weekend too.

Turbo Trainer 46:39 [2]
ahr:105 max:116

Avg Cadence = 84rpm

Recovery spin after the weekend. Lowered gear on the bike to make life easier. Felt fine pedalling but a bit unsteady when I got off!

Read some of Agassi's autobiography, liking it, nearly finished.
