JHI relay 5.7km.
In leading group at 4 after some small mistakes at 2 and 3. Then Sasha accidentally stood on the back of my shoe and it popped off. Spent a good thirty seconds trying to get it back on without success. Ran the next 200mtrs over shit to the track then untaped, unlaced and tied it again. Group gone now and I knew I had no way of getting back in to contention. Messed 8 and 9 by about 3mins getting stuck in shit at 8 and poor map at 9. Missed 18 and 22 quite badly dropping another minute. Tried to run hard but just couldn't.
Ended up 5th somehow 7mins behind the lead. ost about 3mins because of the shoe fiasco. Probably could have stuck with the group if it hadn't happened which is positive. Team mispunched anyways.

Started off well with a small miss at 1. Lost about 25seconds at 5 trying to figure out the contours. Lost about a minute to 16 by not taking the right path up the hill and having to relocate. Small miss at 17 being in the wrong reentrant. Lost about 30 seconds on 18 not taking the right path and messing around a bit. Then mad running to the end.
Came 5th 0:57 seconds behind Dane and 5 mins to the next person. So close!
