Orienteering race 1:10:47 [5] **** 12.0 km (5:54 / km) +70m 5:44 / km
30c shoes: VJ orienteering shoes

Brown on Bull Island.
Started badly losing one minute to 1 because of trying to read the gigantic map while folding it.Was good for the next few legs but dropped 2mins at 9 and 40secs at 8.
Running well from then on and then the train caught me.We all messed up 21 although I stopped at the right place just couldn't see it.
Missed 22 because the control was on the first side of the map when we were going to the second loop.
Lost 50secs at 24 and then 2mins at 27 because everything looks the same around there. In train until last where I bombed ahead and kept going to the finish.
Courses were pretty rubbish because all the legs were long no short tricky ones which Bull Island was created for.Poor run and annoyed about 22.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Warm up with Aonghus and then some jogging.
Cool down with Laurence,Colm and Harry

Running 18:53 [5] 3.9 km (4:51 / km) +180m 3:56 / km

TT 3 laps.
1-6:00
2-6:20
3-6:33

Was aiming for six minute laps and managed on the first one but its amazing how slow people who get in your way can frustrate you.Was dying at the end anyway and got blocked on nthe final downhill which meant i couldn't do a sprint finish.
Lost to Mark's time by 13seconds which i'm fairly dissapointed with but I would have had 3 more go's if the furry glen wasnt closing down or something along those lines.I wonder what the next time trial loop will be?

Orienteering 1:22:20 [3] *** 8.0 km (10:18 / km) +300m 8:40 / km
shoes: VJ orienteering shoes

Line-o,compass on the mountain and then a relay on Three Rock
We walked the first few line-o's which were on PATHS! Why would you walk?!?
Third line-o was paired with Niamh and we were dominating until one craply mapped place lost us like 10minutes.
Mountain was pretty hopeless because Aonghus forgot to give us the correct maps and everyone screwed up this one control.Stopped for a piss aswell.
We were running late because of WALKING! so me and Thomas jogged down to the cars for the relay.Arrived about 20mins before everyone else which meant we could probably have done the Downhill-o which looked good.
Won the relay cleanly but messed up the last and second last on the first one because I'm pretty sure they were wrong.
Good training just bad group.
