Ringsend Sprint.

Had a good flow today even with punch-controls,thoroughly enjoyed my run even if a little dissapointed.

1-9.Spike,but hesistant to a fair few.
10.Didnt read my map enough and missed path turn off.15secs.
11-13.Spike
14.Didnt choose the best route but there was only two choices and i didnt see the other one.Got to where the control should be but no control! I knew that the knackers must have taken it but looked a round for a while.Decided that id tell the people at the finish it was missing but only after dropping a minute.
15-17.Spike,still too hesitant.
18.Ran past a control but it wasnt at the right tree so i thought Laurence was trying to trick us so ran past it.Hit the right tree,no control.Ran back to the other tree and checked code,my code.Lost 30 secs,annoyed.
19-fin.Good.

Happy enough with my time as this was what i was aiming for but annoyed about the time loss which wasnt my fault apart from 10.Everyone who started after me got told about c.14 but i still finished 2nd,23secs behind Marcus.

Easy jog in belfield with a 1:15000 map.Still felt pretty crap,my stomach's all clenched.

Easy jog in Belfield in the rain.Felt pretty good considering i felt like crap the whole day.Brought my map of JK day 2 to practise reading on the run.Realised i should have done a lot better.
Did some stretching half way.

Training on killiney hill with Laurence.2.4km course but the map was really out of date and vegetation very overgrown that ended up getting near the end not getting much of the controls exact but in the area.I enjoyed it,good to get out on a map.

Did 2 courses in the phoenix park with laurence.They werent that difficult but I was practising technique.Made a couple of misses of maybe 30-40secs but nothing major.Was enjoyable but got killed by nettles.

Up on three rock with laurence.Took in some differing terrain like some nice forest near the bottom and then the heather up to fairy castle and down again on the high heather side.Good training!
Had a bag which was so annoying bouncing all over the place,and the bouncing squashed my banana.It was still nice though.
