Loc m16.
Was doing well for the first 6 only lost maybe a minute on 2 from standing still wondering where i was exactly! Was only 3mins behind Mark but then my race fell apart.
7.Took a bearing but went off it and thought i was some place i wasnt on the map and ended up at no.4 but didnt re\alise this until mark came to it.Then i went in the wrong direction to the control and lost more time.9mins lost.
8.Had a good route and was standing on the hill but the control was tucked underneath it and just ended up wandering around until i saw christian getting it.4mins maybe more lost.
9.Took a bad route and ended up too low and too far left.2mins.
10.As i was leaving 9 slipped and hit my knee off a rock.OWWWWW!
Would have spiked 10 if it had been at the middle boulder instead of the lower one.What bad controlling!!! :(.40secs
11.Hit path bend then dropped really low and was wandering till decided to go to a big boulder and there was my control.6mins.

Nice route through Belfield at first and then out onto road up to church to panini shop through deer park another mini loop in Belfield.Again with the flat shoes cause my Asics are soaking.

At JFK arboretum,Brown.
The controls were really hard to see on the map and the map detail was pretty small too.Alright run with a few mistakes and bad route choices.
3.Didnt read map enough and got confused.1min.
7.In circle just couldnt see it.30secs.
9.Map was wrong here and was completely thrown by the wrongness thought im was in the wrong place.2mins.
11.Bad route choice went on the road.
12.Terrible route choice.1:30mins+.
15.Came out of bush too far right and had to run all the way back.1min.
21.Control descriptions said pond but it was on the path right behind me juust didnt realise it.30secs.
23.Started going off in wrong direction but got my act together.

It was good to get a long course in and really enjoyed it :)
