Before event.

Orienteering race 1:04:53 [3] *** 4.0 km (16:13 / km) +130m 13:57 / km

Local Event:Glen of the Downs.
1. spike
2. spike
3.bit dodgy
4.track run. spike
5.took terrible route through the smallest slowest path ever and came to see the earthbank was actually a huge gully. 4mins lost
6.track run but didnt pinpoint exact position of control. 20secs.
7. complete mess up. was planning to come off path and follow contour but should have taken bearing. was just fumblin around for ages. 12mins lost.
8. bit of time from not being completely sure.
9.fast track then pop into forest.
10. fast wood.
11. ok but smashed my leg off a tree stump and had to walk it off. 30secs
12.spike.
13. pegged it down the path but ended up being a messy control through all mush and nettle bushes. 1min.

All in all about 17 mins lost. I was coming first until no.5.

Against Castleknock 40-12 to us.

Wat a match. I played scrum half and came off at end to let other scrum half on. they were ok but the beastness of our team overwhelmed them.Mark scored 3 tries,Shiels 2 and James 1.

Was good getting back into training. It was drizzling but that was sort of refreshing :)
