SHI Individual.

Started well but lost contact on the long leg to 4 and struggled to get it back which seemed to cost 3 minutes. Shortly after I noticed my heels were chafing badly on my shoes and it quickly got pretty painful, especially going uphill or in rougher stuff. A long slow painful slog ensued with a lot of walking.

That is very disappointing. Shoes I hadn’t worn in quite some time and new socks, rookie mistake and myself to blame.

Running 41:05 [3] 7.26 km (5:40 / km) +87m 5:20 / km
ahr:136 max:154

Hot and humid, ended up very sweaty. Jackson tired on this after a long walk with Laura earlier in the day.

Running 54:51 [3] 10.96 km (5:00 / km) +83m 4:49 / km
ahr:150 max:179

What a difference a good nights sleep makes. 5 x 5 mins, first two steady and then harder. I felt the HR strap was a bit up and down with the accuracy. Now easy before SHI on the weekend.
