Killer at the warmest time of day. Heading for El Naranco but 140m climb in 800m was enough for me and turned back. Good call, I got sick a week or two ago from dehydration. I'll probably start taking water for anything over an hour but the best idea is to run in the evenings.

Congrats to all selected for WOC. Here's to an even more competitive selection process for Sweden.

Over the next few days I will look back at the year and start planning for the next. Briefly this year was about getting consistent training going. I didn't have any major aims and as a result didn't go to the selection races. It was a great year and I have definitely made a lot of progress physically. Next year will be more focused on particular things, all gearing towards the goal of sprint and middle at WOC. I'm looking forward to this new focus to guide me, we'll see how it goes.
