Did an orienteering training up in Djouce. Had all my routes planned so the exercise was to execute them. I think I missed 5 seconds over the whole course! Pace was good but comfortable and ran all the hills except for a bit of walking to 9 ;)

Nice run. Not so long but we got 20 minutes in the heather up to Fairy Castle twice. Had some pains in my heels but they went after some time. Really enjoyed the heather part and It's proper nice on that north side of the path

Jogged down to Lindie's. Was a really nice day. They were late (and eventually doing a trail run anyway), so I started without them

Did 2 x 8 minutes

Each 8 minutes got about 2 and a half laps of this circuit we run. There are 2 short and sharp climbs on each lap. Felt happy with my speed and how I was pushing especially during the second interval where I had some stomach sensations. I'm thinking hunger

Went off 5 seconds down! Even though I went slowly, I missed 1 with about 2 minutes. Frustrating but then I spiked two. Overshot 3. Had problems with 4 and I'm sure the map was off here. One side of the path just was not set right with the other side. Also missed time on 8 with Bill Edwards being a distraction. From here in I went clean.
Just disappointed with the beginning of the course. I could have given Jonathan some more time on Ger.
