Warm up/down 10:00 [2]

Did not bring a warmer with me. Was pissing rain and by the time i got to the start i was frozen. Had been advised to do blue if i was getting too cold. Figured this was the case, so set out on the blue with brown control descriptions

Went out easy and kept this up. Never was that tired, just ultra-lazy on the hills. Spent the course complaining about the poor map and planning :)

1-2 - Spikes
3 - Hit the right re-entrant but was too low so it looked odd. Related it to a further on re-entrant to only backtrack and the re-backtrack to the right one!
4 - Wasn't sure when to leave road as veg south of road was badly mapped. Came off too early and hit clearings up the slope.
5 - Stuck in very deep water/thick veg at marsh
9 - Too low
13 - In the wrong place by one crag
14 - The green above the control was one massive clearing !!
16 - After very slow running by the river in previous controls I decided to get away. Apparently the running at the river improved after all (:
17 - Bad map around this area. Quarry not relating to thickets at all
18 - Too low, barely a re-entrant really
19 - Lazy up the hill
Finish - Just ran and realised I had to navigate about halfway there :P

Bad run, mistakes were just stupid. On a good day, am sure I could have come close to 10 minutes better. But I think the map was very, very shoddy
