Shaky start as I read the clue for 1 as hilltop (beside). Stream or ride seems more appropriate. 2 was no problem but then the wheels fell off as I found 4 and 5 before 3. 8 minutes later I figured it out.

6-13 went ok with no real issues. Leaving 13 I was lazy and didn't look at my compass as I jumped on the first trail to 14 but there was actually 2 of them and I was on the wrong one. Corrected once I heard a motorcycle go by on the park road.

15-17 went smooth enough but leaving 17 I again took a wrong trail but unfortunately it was heading to a building which I expected and it had a control at the veg boundary so it made sense as I ran to it. Only after spotting the code on it did I realize my mistake. Foolish mental errors.

Solid to 1 but then lost some time with a poor route off the road which allowed Nick to catch me by the time we made it to 3. 4 and 5 were fine. I chose to go straight to the road for 6 rather than back past 4 but it looks like it was a little slower option.
Approaching 7 I saw Nick just leaving which made that one easy. We ran together to 8 and 9 then attacks from the road waters stops for 10 and 11 where Nick was a little faster but he messed up 12 and I got ahead of him. I ran past 13 and he caught back up. I saw him leaving 14 which made that one easy but I didn't see him after that and I promptly ran past 15 but made up for it by taking the road option to 16.
