midlands champs

was in a real bad werid mood when i woke up dont no why one reason was because my hip was hurting from doing to much training in the last week because i was away last week so did alot this week to make up but should have donw less bearing the weekend in mind. just wasnt feeling up for it but did alright slight route error on 2 plus 1 minutes lost 3 minutes on 4 know why i did it but to tired to write it all down. and slow from hip and lack of motivation. but a real learning day :) just seen the splits and had a quick split to 1 but lost a minute on 2 from getting just in brambles. and lost 3 minutes on 4 from my stupid mistake. which at this point i should be 4 minutes quicker which would be winning by 1 minute then just cruised abit until i lost 30 seconds on 12 from being confussed and another 30 seconds on 14 from tricky over a rock and falling onto to the concrete rock and bashed my leg and elbow which still hurts a little (elbow). then had the fastest split from 14 to the finsih apart from 18 where i got stuck in brambles and lost 30 seconds. so actully quite pleased with it looking back as i had a lot of fastest splits and in the middle section just average from my hip and should have gone quicker and a good start section without the mistakes

malvern urban race.

was good for the first 11 controls in the town and then in the hillside but after 11 was boring just in housing estates round streets apart frm 14,15,16 and then 17,18 in some park the rest were boring. you could see 24 from 10 metres away but had to go an extra 400m round and wasnt no route choice just down a road. didnt enjoy it apart from the start much prefer sprint to urban going to give the urbans a rest unless its a decent area!

back at harriers after a werid couple of weeks with football and other stuff going on on harriers days and then barcalona so back training fully now bring on the weekend :)

quick run back nothing dead quick first half was quick did 2k in 7;30 with a strong win then easy back in. back to it this week. seem as i havent been in barcelona for the last 4 days but wish id looked up there orienteering maps there before i went as i looked when i was there and there was 3 sprint map within 10 minutes of the hotel and one with the hotel on. think ill go back and do them one day :P
