EPOC Ackroydon. Started well (in 1st at #2). Sadly didn't last! I did not understand if I was permitted to cross the very busy road and couldn't find a way under. Helpful orienteers told me I was permitted to cross. Lost about 6 mins! Then wrong routes to #4 & #5 ( legend didn't show multi level and not in final details). OK after but very steep in parts so slow. Lesson : read control descriptions. If a road doesn't have red lines on it no matter how wide and busy it is you can cross! 600m and at least 60m climb back to Assembly!

HALO Barton upon Humber pre-poacher MapRun planned by Brian. 15 days since last run in Hessle and lunch out left me feeling ploddy and tummy ache early on. Shuffled on and felt better after downhill to #3. Enjoyed it. Felt I picked the optimum route choices. Shattered now!
