Running warm up/down 20:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)

Warm up and cool down for Sprint at Maynooth University.

Orienteering race 13:05 [4] 2.1 km (6:14 / km)

A sprint on a very wide open university campus. Relatively easy except for a few tricky spots that you can expect to find on a university campus. (Confusing nooks and crannies, getting in on the correct side of the fence, etc.) I misread the entrance to an area, took a hard right, realized my mistake and turned around and added 35 seconds to my time, effectively taking me out of the race for top 5.

Running 1:05:00 [3] 13.0 km (5:00 / km) +350m 4:24 / km

Easy run up Telegrafo before heading to Ireland. Climbed up some steep spots but not too hard for the most part.

Early morning run to school. Calves are tight from yesterday but overall I feel pretty good.

Running 3:00:00 [3] 28.0 km (6:26 / km) +1200m 5:18 / km

A tough mountain run from Cotos back home. First section was off-road with the FEDOboys and then rocky trails the whole way back. Climbed three 2200 meter peaks. Cold and lots of rocks. Coming down was the hardest part. Amazing temperature change from 2 degrees up top to 23 degrees in the valley. Not a run to work on foot speed, but certainly worth it for the endurance and the views.
