Field Checking 2:23:05 [1] *** 5.29 km (27:03 / km) +172m 23:16 / km

Wandering around at Pineridge sticking stands in the ground.

Field Checking 2:25:07 [1] *** 5.57 km (26:02 / km) +309m 20:23 / km
shoes: Jalas - sz 10

Another loop. A total of 49 stands placed today. One boneheaded parallel error where I thought I needed to cut through the woods to another trail but it turns out I was already on the trail I wanted. Result was a loop through medium junky woods with lots of rock underfoot on a moderately steep hillside - while carrying about 15 stands! Doh!

Orienteering race 1:43:00 [4] *** 8.76 km (11:45 / km) +135m 10:55 / km
spiked:6/13c shoes: Jalas - sz 10

NEOC event at Townsend SF - Red course. 6.3km SL.

Abysmal. Distracted by upcoming A-meet stuff so not focused. Found the mis-hung control (never got to where it was supposed to be). Great weather (sunny, 60's). Woods kind of junky with widely varying visibility.

Hope I do better tomorrow placing stands at Pineridge. :-)

Hauling water. Hope the porcupines leave the jugs alone.

Road Run 40:18 intensity: (39 @1) + (2:59 @2) + (18:35 @3) + (18:05 @4) 4.2 mi (9:35 / mi) +170m 8:31 / mi

Running around. Have had a cold since CA but it's far enough along that I thought I should try to run some. Low 70's but the vegetation is starting to show signs of Fall.
