Running 42:50 [4] 10.0 km (4:17 / km)

Elloughton 10km.. Didnt expect anything from the race because of the two weeks in Scotland. Started slowly and after half way, just kept motivated by passing the women infront of me. Stayed strong and finished well.

Will add cairngorm and scottish stuff tomorrow when i can be bothered :P

Disappointing week in the orientering department, but had an amazing time otherwise.. Think i learnt quite a lot at Cairngorm, but couldnt seem to put it into practise at all! Maybe one day :P

WU; 1.5km, 9:09 plus 10mins drills (massive uphill walk aswell!)
WD; 0.8km, 5:26

Orienteering 1:02:52 [4] 7.24 km (8:41 / km) +205m 7:36 / km

Best run technically, but probably because i slowed down a lot, maybe when i didnt need to - picking out too much detail when i should have just gone for it. Thought id done well but then finished far down the field and was really upset by it =/

Lost time on 2, 3, 5, 6, 12, 16, 17 and 19.
Terrible run.

Orienteering 1:14:24 [3] 7.86 km (9:28 / km) +250m 8:10 / km

This could have been a really good run, quite liked the area, especially towards the end.. Lacked the energy to keep running through the terrain and found it difficult on the muddy elephant tracks through the wooded part. Made about 9mins of big mistakes.. Consistantly making these silly errors which need to be wiped out.

Jog to and around the start plus 10mins drills.

Orienteering 1:14:13 [3] 7.17 km (10:21 / km) +310m 8:31 / km

Awful run from 8 onwards.. Went completely the wrong way to number9, obv didnt check my compass carefully enough, then got confused to 10 as i hadnt been concentrating enough and lost about 5-6mins there. Other time losses aswell which were disappointing. Rest day well needed!

Middle Race..
Lost two minutes at number1 so that wasnt a good start. Then lost at least 5mins over controls 5, 7, 8 and 12.. Liked the area, especially the green woodland at the end. Just cant seem to do it right in a race situation.

Had a few really good legs. Small mistakes on numbers 2, 6 and 8.. Then a massive 5-6minute loss on number9 - didnt have an attackpoint and just wandered around =/
