steady run 2:30:00 [3]
High point of little Lecht road along ridge via Scraulac, Cairnagour Hill, Mona Gowan, Slacks of Glencarvie, Mullachdubh, Braes of Fintock and finally Morven.
Lovely atmospheric conditions at start - cloud on hill with gaps every so often as wind and sun blew/burnt it away, then to close in again. Finally cleared at Mona Gowan and then blazing sunshine all the way. Saw 4 people, 2 at summit of Morven and 2 on steep descent from plateau. Also almost stood on a adder - I couldn't change my foot placing as steep, fast and narrow, stony path, but it wriggled away nice and quickly into the heather - phew!
Feeling pretty dire for the whole run - legs empty at start and never got better, not sure what the problem was, but great day out and enjoyed it in a sort of masochistic way!
Had an energy bar after 40 mins and also dozens of cloudberries (best I've ever seen in Scotland) and loads of blueberries - all lovely and juicy and warm - like eating freshly made warm jam :-))
Swimming 15:00 [1]
Dip with S at Queens Loch, like a warm bath! Nicer now after the dredging of last year, much less reeds and more deep areas. Lovely warm afternoon.
